NYSC 2017 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Winding-Up/Passing-Out Date

This is to inform all the National Youth service Corps memebers of 2017 Batch A Stream II that their passing out (POP) date has been announced.

I wish to inform you that Management of the National Youth Service Corps has fixed Thursday, 21st June, 2018 for the Winding up/Passing out activities of the 2017 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Corps Members Nationwide. Final Clearance is to take place on 5th june, 2018 at every NYSC Local Government

The Winding up/Passing-out activities will be low-keyed with the distribution of Certificate of National Service to deserving Corps Members at the Zonal Office Level.

Other activities of the programmes are stated below:

1. Tuesday 12th June to Thursday 14th June 2018 

a.  Job awareness and creation week, sensitization of corps members on Job Creation/Opportunity after service. This will be done at local government level using relevant officers/NYSC/NDE officers.

2. Friday 15th June, 2018

a. Release of passing out Corps members by the Employee.
b. Registration/Clearing of Corps Members by local government Inspectors.

Management wishes to commend and thank all Corps Members for their Selfless Service, Dedication, Resilience, Patriotism to the nation and patience while awaiting the official passing out date.

However, we also wish to admonish Corps Members on their comments and posts in the social media on issues relating to the scheme and advice that, being abusive and deployment of wrong use of words does not reflect responsible attitude and behaviour.

Management wishes to thank you for your various contributions in fostering national unity and development and wish you all journey mercies as you return to your respective destinations.

It is worthwhile to reflect our collective attribute of role models for the youths being responsible graduates who had been found worthy in character and learning in the various citadels of excellence.

Congratulations on completion of the National Service and God bless and provide you better means of livelyhood.
